Welcome to Film Academy 18! Join our vibrant adult community dedicated to all things film. Whether you're passionate about movies, TV, reporting, or documentaries, this is the place for you. Our weekly Thursday gatherings are the perfect opportunity to collaborate, learn, and discuss with fellow local creatives.
What To Expect:
- Collaborative Learning: Share your knowledge and learn from others in a friendly, supportive environment.
- Diverse Topics: Explore a variety of subjects including film production, television, journalism, and documentary-making.
- Hands-On Projects: Participate in monthly projects that you can take away and share.
- No Experience Required: Beginners and experienced filmmakers alike are welcome!

Group Details
- Duration: 3 Hours from 18:00 every Thursday.
- Cost:
- Pay as You Go: £25 per week.
- Monthly Payment: £20 per week (paid upfront for the month 4wks).
Showcase Your Work
At the end of each month, we will have finished footage for you to share and gloat about! Some films may be shown at a local cinema or screening centre.
- Event Cost: £TBA per person.
- Refreshments: TBA
